Anise hyssop is presumed to stop nightmares, so add some to dream pillows to encourage sweet dreams.

Anise has a strong aroma that hints a combination of mint and licorice.

Classic use example

The leaves and flowers make a delicious black licorice flavored tea.

Special use example

Anise is also used to flavor baked goods, fruit, cheese, candy and soups.

●Cut the plants in half (Harvesting Style 2) or remove the bigger outer leaves (Harvesting Style 4).
